Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL) today announced that its subsidiary, Brightpoint North America L.P. (“Brightpoint”), has entered into a preferred supplier agreement with the Associated Carrier Group, LLC (“ACG”) to sell wireless communication products to participating members of the ACG. Pursuant to the agreement, Brightpoint will be the primary supplier of all wireless devices from the leading wireless handset and device manufacturers and provide additional services related to product development and management to the ACG. In addition, Brightpoint will provide related integrated logistics services to the ACG and its participating members.

The Associated Carrier Group (ACG) was formed to benefit both its members and the consumer by facilitating efficient production and marketing of devices as well as increased competition.
